Matthew grew up in Maryland doing art and photography. In Santa Fe he expanded to film, video and computer animation. Since graduating he worked as a camera assistant, grip and electrician before returning to the digital realm. He currently works in the Digital Optical Department of Pacific Title in Hollywood and spends his free time on his comic book.
